Brookhaven Retreats, LLC (“Brookhaven,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), doing business as The Cabins at Brookhaven, operates the website brookhavenretreats.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or use the Site, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you choose to give us, including:

• Email address — if you sign up for our newsletter or mailing list through the “Stay In Touch” form.
• Contact information — if you email or call us directly using the contact details listed on the Site, including your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.
• Booking information — if you check availability or book a stay through our booking system, you will be directed to our booking partner, Hospitable, Inc., and/or our payment processor. Information you provide during that process (such as your name, contact details, payment information, and stay dates) is collected and processed by those third parties under their own privacy policies, not by us directly. We receive limited information back from them (such as your name, contact details, and reservation details) in order to fulfill your stay.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, the Site may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This is typically collected through standard web server logs and, if enabled, analytics tools. We do not currently use advertising trackers or sell this information.

How We Use Your Information

• Send occasional updates, availability notices, seasonal offers, or news about Brookhaven, if you have signed up to receive them

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties, as we do not control their data practices.

Cookies

The Site may use a small number of essential cookies needed for basic functionality (such as remembering that you closed a banner or menu state). We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

• Booking data — requests related to information held by Hospitable or our payment processor should also be directed to those companies directly, in addition to us.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
