The Cabins at Brookhaven

Built for slowing down.

You'll know you've arrived.

Brookhaven sits on quiet countryside acreage just outside Bloomfield, Kentucky — close enough to Bardstown's bourbon trail and Taylorsville Lake for a full day out, far enough that the only thing on the agenda can be doing nothing at all.

Each 320-square-foot cabin is its own complete, private world: a queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa, full kitchen and bath, and a private deck with your own fire pit and hammocks. Step outside and share the cedar sauna and cold plunge with the property's other guests, then retreat back to your own quiet corner of Brookhaven.

Whether you're here for a couple's reset, a solo escape, a hunting trip, or a small gathering with friends — Brookhaven is built around one idea: come here to reconnect, with the place and with yourself.

Sauna & Cold Plunge

A slower pace begins here.

Brookhaven was created to offer something that's become increasingly hard to find: space. Space to step away from the pace of everyday life. Space to be quiet. Space to simply breathe.

Our cedar barrel sauna and cold plunge are part of that experience — a chance to slow down, clear your head, and reconnect with the quieter rhythm of this place. No rush. No expectations. Just time that belongs to you.

Where You'll Be

Ron, host of The Cabins at Brookhaven
Your Host

Welcome to Brookhaven. I'm Ron.

I believe we all need places that help us remember who we are beneath the pace and pressure of everyday life.

That's why I created Brookhaven.

Life has a way of pulling us into constant motion. Work. Responsibility. Noise. Somewhere along the way, many of us forget what it feels like to simply slow down.

Whether it's coffee on the porch, a nap in one of the hammocks, or a fireside conversation with the people who matter most, sometimes that's the reset we need.

I live next door with my two dogs, Andy and Bear. While you'll have complete privacy during your stay, I'm nearby if you need anything.

Whether you're escaping for a weekend, celebrating something meaningful, or simply looking for a little breathing room, I hope you'll settle into a slower pace and leave feeling more grounded than when you arrived.
